These braids you should try and how to make them
In addition to the simple three-strand braid, there are many more types of braids. Experiment with them! Because especially if you often wear your hair up, a little variation is very nice. Especially for you, we have collected the most fun hairstyles.
Three-strand braid
Let’s start with the simplest braid. You probably learned how to make this braid as a child. All you need is a comb and a hair elastic. Brush your hair thoroughly before we begin. Divide your hair into three equal sections. Start with the left strand, cross it over the middle one. Now take the right strand and cross it over the middle as well, towards the left side. Repeat these two steps until you have braided to the end. Secure your hair with the elastic.
French braid
This braid is a true classic and keeps your hair off your face during hot days. It’s also perfect for a busy work or school day. Take the front sections of your hair, between your temples, and divide it into three sections. Braid once to the left and once to the right, crossing towards the middle. With the next section, add a side strand to the braid and continue. Keep going until you reach the nape of your neck, the sides should be fully incorporated into the braid. Now you just have to braid the remaining length of your hair using the three-strand method.
Tip: Want more volume? Gently pull apart the braid for a voluminous look.
Fishbone braid
This braid is often a favorite for special occasions, and for good reason. It looks absolutely stunning. Gather all your hair and create a low ponytail, then divide it into two equal sections. Take a small strand from the outer side of the left section and bring it to the center, adding it to the right section. Now, take a small strand from the right side, bring it to the center, and add it to the left section. Repeat these steps until you run out of hair. Secure with a hair elastic.
Twisted braid
It doesn’t get easier than this! All you need are two hair elastics. Create a ponytail, the height is up to you. Divide the ponytail into two sections. Twist the two sections around each other clockwise until you reach the end. Secure with a hair elastic.
