- 17,5 oz ground beef
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1,5 tsp sambal oelek
- 1 tsp sambal badjak
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp sweet soy sauce (ketjap manis)
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 3 tbsp breadcrumbs (panko)
- Black pepper
- Salt
Preparation
Mix the peanut butter, garlic, sambal oelek and badjak, egg, sweet soy sauce, coriander powder, paprika powder, onion powder, brown sugar, black pepper, and salt to taste in a bowl. Mix the marinade with the ground beef and add about 3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs (panko). You may add a little more breadcrumbs gradually if necessary.
Preheat the air fryer to 390F. Place a sheet of parchment paper in it and place the meatballs on top. Bake the meatballs for 15 minutes, 8 minutes at 390F and 7 minutes at 320F. Flip the meatballs during the temperature change.
Don’t have an air fryer? Bake the meatballs in 15 to 20 minutes in a frying pan until golden brown, turning them regularly while baking.
