Homemade scrub recipes

A good skincare routine is crucial for maintaining a healthy and radiant complexion. Exfoliation, or scrubbing, is a key part of this routine as it helps remove dead skin cells and stimulates blood circulation, promoting healthier and smoother skin. In this article, we’ll explain how to make your own scrub using natural ingredients.

Step 1: Choose a base
The first thing to do is choose a base for your scrub. This ingredient serves as a carrier for other components and determines the texture of the scrub. Some good options include sugar, salt, ground coffee, or oats.

Step 2: Add oils
Oils are essential as they moisturize and nourish the skin, leaving it soft and supple. Some good options include coconut oil, olive oil, almond oil, or jojoba oil. Add approximately 2 tablespoons of oil per ½ cup of the base ingredient.

Step 3: Add fragrance
If you want your scrub to have a pleasant scent, you can add a few drops of essential oil. Some good options are lavender, eucalyptus, peppermint, or lemon. Add about 5-10 drops of essential oil per ½ cup of the base ingredient.

Step 4: Mix and store
Thoroughly mix all the ingredients and store the scrub in an airtight container. The scrub will last for approximately 2-3 weeks.
