3 delicious tea recipes 

Are you a true tea lover? Then how fun would it be to make your own fresh tea! Here are three recipes to make your own delicious teas. All recipes are for 4 cups of tea. Enjoy! 

Spiced apple tea 

Ingredients: 

  • Star anise 
  • 1 clove 
  • 1 cinnamon stick 
  • 17 fl oz water 
  • 1 apple 

Wash the apple and cut it into small pieces. You can leave the skin on. Put the water in a pan and boil the apple pieces for about 5 minutes. Add the clove, star anise, and cinnamon stick and let it steep for 8 minutes. Strain the tea and pour it into a teapot or directly into cups. 

Ginger tea 

Ingredients: 

  • 3,5 oz fresh ginger root 
  • 27 fl oz boiling water 

Remove the dark and dry parts of the ginger and slice it into thin pieces. Thread about 5 slices onto skewers until all the ginger is used. Divide the skewers among the cups. Pour boiling water into each cup and let it steep for 1 minute. 

Turmeric Tea 

Ingredients: 

  • 0,5 oz turmeric 
  • 1 lime 
  • 1 cinnamon stick 
  • Pinch of black pepper 
  • 33 fl oz boiling water 

Slice the turmeric into pieces and cut the lime into wedges. Bring 1 liter of water to a boil with the turmeric and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the cinnamon stick, 2 lime wedges, and black pepper, and let it steep for 5 minutes. Strain the tea and pour it into a teapot or directly into cups. Extra delicious: add a bit of honey.
